A wedding prediction game turns your guests into the most invested audience in the room. Instead of scrolling their phones during the cocktail hour, they are checking the leaderboard to see if their pick for first dance song just came true. No money changes hands. What Is a Wedding Prediction Game?
The host (usually a MOH, best man, or anyone with five minutes before the wedding) builds a list of prediction questions about the ceremony and reception. Guests open one link on their phones, enter their name, and lock in their picks before a cutoff time. Then they watch the day unfold.

- Who catches the bouquet? List a few likely candidates plus a wildcard.
- How long does the best man's speech run? Another time guess. Classic.
- What will the officiant say that gets the biggest laugh? Open text, scored on similarity.
- Tiebreaker: What time does the last guest leave the dance floor? This one breaks any tie so there is always a clear winner.
How the Scoring Works
Each correct pick earns a point. For text answers, the score is based on how close the guess is to the real answer, so a near miss still gets partial credit. Time and number guesses use closest-without-going-over, the same logic as The Price Is Right. The tiebreaker question settles any deadlock, so the leaderboard always has a definitive champion.

Running It on the Day
- Build your question list a day or two before. Mix easy picks with ones that will split the room.
- Set the cutoff time for when the ceremony starts. Picks lock automatically.
- Share the link in the group chat, on the rehearsal dinner table, or in the wedding program.
- After the reception, enter the real answers. The leaderboard updates live and guests can see how they finished.
